Abimis outdoor kitchens: cooking outside, just like at home

Outdoor kitchens: when quality really makes a difference

In recent years, outdoor kitchens have ceased to be a simple seasonal accessory to become a true extension of the domestic space. They are no longer temporary solutions, but instead settings designed with the same care as an indoor kitchen, in terms of functionality, ergonomic design and quality of materials.

In this scenario, the choice of material is decisive. Indeed, stainless steel is today the most solid and coherent answer for those who want to cook outdoors without compromise: it is built to withstand bad weather, thermal shock, humidity and chemical agents, maintaining performance and aesthetics unaltered over time.

Welded stainless steel: the heart of Abimis outdoor kitchens

Precisely because of these characteristics, Abimis kitchens – made entirely of AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless steel – are naturally suited for outdoor use. Their construction constitutes a unique feature in the domestic landscape.

A technical choice that has very concrete IMPLICATIONS:

It is an approach derived directly from the world of professional catering, where reliability and hygiene are not options but essential requirements.

Atelier outdoor: a professional kitchen facing out to sea

In the project presented here, an outdoor kitchen from the Atelierline finds its ideal location under the portico of a seaside home. It sits only a few steps from the infinity pool; beyond, the beach, the sea and the horizon.

The composition of this outdoor kitchen is linear, compact, perfectly integrated into the architecture: smooth stainless steel doors, a continuous worktop, an integrated sink and a flush-fit induction hob. No visual interruption, no superfluous elements. Everything is stripped back to what matters, but the performance of this kitchen is perfectly comparable to that of the best indoor kitchens.

In such an exposed context, the choice of material becomes even more strategic. For this outdoor kitchen, AISI 316 stainless steel was used – a specific alloy that guarantees greater resistance to salt air and chlorine. It is the ideal material for installations like this – near the sea or by a swimming pool – where environmental conditions put any surface to the test.

An outdoor kitchen that really works

The Atelier kitchen stems from a professional matrix: the same functional organisation, the same operational logic as restaurant kitchens, but translated into a more restrained, adaptable domestic language.

This translates into an outdoor kitchen that is robust and long-lasting, offering excellent performance.

All Abimis kitchens are also designed for outdoor use

Each Abimis kitchen line stands out from the others in terms of aesthetics and personality, but all share a solid stainless steel structure and the same construction quality.

This allows all Abimis kitchens to be installed not only indoors, but also outdoors. Àtria is the first kitchen explicitly designed for outdoor use, but EgoAtelier and the new TU – previewed at Salone del Mobile – Eurocucina 2026 – are naturally suited for this use.

Outdoor kitchens: redefining how we live

In projects like this, the kitchen is no longer a separate environment, but a connection point between interior and exterior. An operational space, certainly, but also a place for interaction, between those who cook, those who observe, and those who move between home, garden and landscape.

Abimis outdoor kitchens start from a simple logic: to take the quality and performance of a professional kitchen outside.
