This is exactly what a young Parisian designer who works in the catering and restaurant world did. For her stately apartment located between the 2nd and 3rd arrondissement, and distinguished by a classic style, she joined forces with Abimis’s research and development department to design an Ego island that contains all the operational elements: the washing-up sink welded to the worktop, the induction hob with built-in hood, and the oven. Moreover, she decided to create space designed specifically for storage on either side of the island, introducing drawers and compartments with pull-out shelves.
This island, chosen in the orbitally-polished finish, blends in seamlessly with the existing kitchen, furnished with antique family furniture, a wall-mounted block of which has been preserved, providing wooden base units and a marble top and wall panel.
