Here we are in Oderzo, a small town just outside Treviso, where Abimis has created a bespoke Atelier kitchen as part of a renovation project for an apartment situated in the historic centre. This kitchen blends in well with the style of the home and, above all, perfectly reflects the customer’s personal taste and identity.
This large kitchen, designed by the architect together with the Abimis team of professionals, runs along most of the room’s perimeter. In the same way, the large central space is cleverly used thanks to a stainless steel island, creating a practical cooking area. Making the best use of space, down to the last centimetre, and the careful positioning of the five work areas (storage, preparation, cooking, plating and washing) have made it possible to create a kitchen that, just like a valuable tool, makes it easier for the cook to move around, being structured around their needs and facilitating their work.
The AISI 304 stainless steel surfaces, which are 6mm thick in this kitchen, provide unique levels of resistance and hygiene . With no visible joints, they prevent dirt and bacteria from building up and are easy to clean. Their polished gleam interacts perfectly with the room’s natural lighting, creating interesting plays of light and reflections that really embellish the surroundings.
This project is certainly made unique and given character by the cabinets in the washing and preparation area, covered in Fenix, which appear here in a sophisticated and feminine powder pink colour. The matt colour of the cabinets recalls the shades of the characteristic quartz agglomerate in the flooring, creating a line of aesthetic consistency that makes the room appear tidy and well-balanced. Lastly, a lot of space is dedicated to the appliances, which are all integrated into the kitchen’s stainless steel structure: refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, induction hob and wine cellar. Just like a precious necklace, this bright and extremely elegant kitchen has completely transformed the look of this apartment, creating a space that is functional yet glamorous at the same time.
